Following Google I/O 2015, now comes Apple Inc.’s turn to bring the news in the limelight at Apple’s WWDC 2015 event, coming up on June 8th.
For all Apple fans out there, this is a landmark event that bring all the new picks and perks of the tech company to the table.
The rumor mill coupled with some official statements produced a variety of new features that are awaiting official introduction.
Firstly, it is expected that one of the novelties showcased at the WWDC 2015 will be the tweaking of iOS with the newer, improved version, iOS 9.
An operating system update is timely and works on the functionality of iOS, stripping funky new features that usually hinder performance.
Coupled with the fact that the Apple Inc. has already overhauled the 16GB storage models in favor of the 32GB models, an improved operating system will make the experience increasingly smoother.
In an overarching effort to join the market of controlling home appliances via mobile devices, Apple Inc. will also reveal the HomeKit application for iOS 9.
Smartphones are starting to play an increasing role in controlling home appliances. At least those included in the Internet of Things.
A new lineup for products that are not iPhones or iPads is also expected to feature at the WWDC. There’s an entire variety of devices that are not included in the smartphone/tablet category and Apple needs to keep its top position in the market.
The most debated news of the Apple releases concerns the tech’s intention to revamp its music service. Apple Music is set to join the ranks of Spotify or Pandora, charging also a similar fee for subscription.
Previously, iTunes Radio did not have the expected impact on the market. Hopefully, the new Apple Music venture will pick up at a stronger pace. The service is announced to be powered by Beats Music app and charge 10 dollars per month for subscription.
Apple Watch is also expected to see an upgrade that will be released at the WWDC 2015. A new smartwatch will possibly take the lead in the market. No news have been yet confirmed, yet for Apple fans and particularly for the smartwatch fans out there, it is worth keeping an eye out for.
Only a couple of days are left until the Apple WWDC 2015 will take place and rumors, as well as news will be confirmed.
