Bratislava based Nice Architects made every person’s that wants to live off the grid dream come true with one Ecocapsule.
Much has recently been published and debated about energy efficient, zero emissions, living of the earth housing solutions for those daring enough to make the change.
The Ecocapsule brings together all of these attributes. It is self-sustainable, zero emission, energy efficient egg-shaped tiny home that offers the freedom to live really anywhere.
The tiny egg-shaped abode features a roof plastered with 600W solar cells, as well as an in-built 750W wind turbine that is responsible for storing the energy into the 9,744Wh strong battery that keeps the house clean-energy connected permanently.
The innovative idea behind it the Ecocapsule is to bring together technological advancements in the field of clean energy and put them to use to create the perfect environmental friendly, off-the-grid-passionate appealing home.
It harnesses its energy from the sun and wind and features a rainwater collecting system that is designed to filter it, thus rendering clean and potable water to the egg-shell dweller.
The impressive tiny house measures only 14.6 feet in length, 7.4 feet in width and 8.4 feet in height. Do not fret though. Every inch of the interior has been cleverly designed to accommodate all needs, albeit the hobbit-house-sizes.
Thus, inside you will find a folding bed, a small kitchen, shower and a flushable toilet. Not to mention it also features a dining area and storage space.
So far, Nice Architects did not announce a price for their ingenious creation. Yet, pre-orders are accepted by the end of 2015. If someone is in doubt whether to purchase the energy-efficient Ecocapsule or is simply curious, a prototype will be exhibited at the Pioneers festival in Vienna.
Always dreamed to live off the grid and yet enjoy all the comforts of modern life? Ecocapsule harmoniously brings the two together.
