Today has been a great day for Google news. The tech giant has unveiled its latest products, including the new Nexus 9 tablet, a new streaming TV called Nexus Player and the highly-anticipated new operating system called Android 5.0 Lollipop. Once can say that Google has come with a bag full of goodies for all tech lovers everywhere.
One of the most important products from the Nexus lineup is the Nexus 9 tablet. The tablet was built by HTC and measures 8.9 inches. This is the first Google tablet to feature a 64 bit support because it comes with a dual-core chipset of 2.3GHz called Nvidia K1. The Nexus 9 tablet comes with 2GB of RAM, a 1.6MP selfie camera, an 8MP back camera with autofocus, a dual band Wi-Fi connectivity and a 6,700 mAh battery. The stereo speakers are HTC’s BoomSound speakers, which have proved to be a hit on their flagship devices so far. The Nexus 9 tablet IS 7.99mm thick and weighs 425g and 436g for the LTE model. You can get it in black and white and it will be available for pre-order on Friday, October 17. The Nexus 9 tablet will be in stores on November 9th and you can get it for $399 (the 16GB model), $479 (the 32GB model) or $599 (the 32GB with LTE model). Also, the new Nexus 9 tablet will be the first to get the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
The Nexus 9 tablet resembles the previous Nexus 5 tablet, except for the brushed-metal sides. The display comes with Gorilla Glass 3, with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a double tap to wake feature. The Nexus 9 tablet has a 3,048×1,536 resolution and a pixel density of 281 ppi, which is somewhat lower than it was expected. A keyboard folio case was designed by HTC and Google and can be attached to the new Nexus 9 tablet to make it easier for typing.
