Google rolls out a new podcast service for its Android platform. People have known for some time that the search engine wants to add a podcast function to its well-known Play Music application, but they just did not know the releasing time frame.
A podcast option would bring yet another press system to the current big list of choices found in Google’s Play Store. Having the company already providing songs downloading and streaming, e-books, films, gaming activities and other applications, including podcasts, means that it would have a nearly complete collection in regards to popular media offering.
The company’s officials have confirmed this move in a Twitter post this week. Even if they later removed it for unknown reasons, the keen attention of the fans has been already caught by this information. Those from Android Police were the first people to spread the news, providing their audience a clear idea of the podcasts’ customer interface.
According to various website visitors, they tried to access its unreleased podcasts function and talked about some new options that these podcasts will deliver. The consumer interface has primarily orange and white elements, while the other areas of the application are very similar to the previous Play Music software.
This implies that various podcasts may be shown inside Material-like boxes, a style everyone is already accustomed to. People will be capable to access these podcasts through the sidebar placed on its left, right above the “Browse Stations” feature.
