Everyone is talking about the official release of Apple’s latest product, the much-anticipated Apple Watch.

The new Apple gadget can do many things. It’s not just a fancy accessory that tells time, as I’m sure no one really believed that an Apple product is unidirectional.

One can use Apple Watch to communicate with friends, family and work colleagues. It can be used to check the notifications that are received on the smartphone, and most importantly, as some tech experts believe, Apple Watch has the unique feature that allows its users to buy things with their wrists.

The feature that allows one to purchase things using the Apple Watch is called Apple Pay.

The feature is pretty easy to install, but it differs somehow from the method used to install Apple Pay on the iPhone.
First, one needs to open the Apple Watch app on the iPhone. Second step is to click Passbook and Apple Pay, and then add a new credit or debit card.

The users can actually choose a card that they already use for iTunes, or they can scan a new one.
Whatever option they choose, the users need to go through an authorization process for Apple Pay, which is different than the one for the iPhone.

The credit card put on file will get a separate Apple Pay number that can actually be cancelled from the Apple Watch but can still be used on the iPhone.

The users need to agree to the terms of use that Apple has, click Next and then verify and confirm the credit card in a text message sent on the users’ iPhone. It can also be delivered with a phone call.

The credit card or bank will then offer the user different options for additional steps of authorization.
According to Apple, the first card the user enters in the system will be set as the default one. However, the card can be changed at any time to a different one right from the app.

If one stores multiple cards in the Apple Watch, then he or she will be able to choose the card the user would like to utilize before the payment, similar to how it’s done on the iPhone.

When deleting a card, one needs to tap the card, select “remove” from the iPhone’s Apple Watch app settings.
Using Apple Pay on Apple Watch is actually very simple. The users need to tap the side button two times, choose the card they want to use and hold the front of the face to the payment terminal.

The watch will then start to vibrate, and the users will see a check mark appearing on the screen that will confirm that the payment was successful.

There is no need for any other passwords or Touch ID confirmation. The Apple Watch only when it is taken off the user’s wrist, but as long as it stays on, the user can make the payment with only a double-click.

In case one loses the watch, the user can remove Apple Pay from the device using the iPhone or the iCloud. By doing this, the watch can no longer be used for making purchases.

The official release date for the Apple Watch is scheduled for April 24. The pre-orders started about two weeks ago.
Apple’s new gadget will be officially launched in nine countries on April 24.

In order to make an in-store purchase, one has to make a reservation in advance.

The official list of countries where the Apple Watch will first be available includes the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, France, Germany, China, Hong Kong and Japan. According to Apple CEO, Tim Cook, more countries will be revealed soon.

The Apple Watch comes in different price ranges, depending on the model and its features.

The 38mm version of the aluminum Sport edition costs $349, while the 42mm model is $399.
The stainless steel Apple Watch model starts at $549, and can go up to $1099, depending on the band the user chooses to have and the configuration of the watch’s size.

But the most expensive Apple Watch versions are the Gold Watch Edition. Its price ranges from $10,000 to $17,000.
The Gold Edition watches are in limited supply and can be purchased only from select Apple Stores.

The luxury Apple Watch comes with VIP treatment and with a charging stand.

Even if the prices may seem high, the Apple Watch sold in one day more than Android Wear in all of 2014.

The Apple Watch will get more designs next year, tech experts believe. Many hope that the new models will come at a more reasonable price and will include a round face.

According to official sources, one of the reasons that the Apple Watch sells for these high prices is that its components take a lot of time to be put together.
