Plug Power (PLUG), a provider of clean, reliable energy products, is up 7.97% at $3.93 in pre-market trading after the company said that Central Grocers has placed an order for 182 next-generation GenDrive fuel cell units to operate its electric lift truck fleet in Joliet, IL.
Central Grocers, the distributor of brand name and private label goods branded as Centrella and Silver Cup Value Buy, has also signed a 5-year GenCare service contract with the company for the GenDrive fleet.
The new units ordered are expected to be operational at Central Grocers by the third quarter of 2014.
