As the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is just few months away, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 rumors have swirled around letting us get the taste of many of its features.
The famous Galaxy Note Series started in 2011 and was the king due to lack of competitor in the market for this range of the device but other manufacturers like LG joined the war quickly followed by Sony, HTC and Nokia. Samsung is expected to formally announce the Note 4 at the IFA 2014 Berlin, Germany.
The excitement for the Note 4 doubles as it will heat up its competition with soon-to-be-announced iPhone 6.
So here is a sneak peak into media leaked technical specs and features of the device.
SM-N910 is rumored to be the model number for the Galaxy Note 4 .
Dimension and Display:
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have a 5.7″ Super AMOLED QHD(1440×2560 pixels) , Full HD display; with a pixel density of about 534 pixels per inch with UV sensor that will enable better auto-brightness adjustments to the display.
The device is also rumored to feature both a flat and a curved display (for selective market).
Hardware specifications:
It will be released in two variants: Snapdragon 805 and the Exynos 5433 codenamed ‘HelsinkiPro.
‘True Octa-core processor on Exynos 64-bit chipset or big.LITTLE 16-core Exynos 64-bit chipset. The
Snapdragon variant will be accessible to the American, Korean, Chinese and Japanese markets, while the Exynos model will be available for the international market including Europe and several other countries. It will feature 4GB RAM.
Note 4 Camera:
The Note 4 will reportedly feature a 16-megapixel (MP) rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization and a 2MP front-facing camera for video calls. Aqua Mode allowing the device’s users to take photos underwater. 1080p Full HD capture at 60fps and 2160 @ 30 fps.
Connectivity:
The Exynos variant will come with Intel’s XXMM7260 cat.6 modem (with LTE support). Feature similar to Download Booster that combines Wi-Fi and cellular data for faster download speeds. 4G and Dual channel Wi-Fi capabilities.
Android 4.5 version
All the flagship smartphones of 2014 can run on Android 4.4 KitKat, the latest update in the Android family. However, there are chances that Galaxy Note 4, the flagship phablet style phone is going to be powered by the next version of Android platform i.e. Android 4.5 Lollipop.
Storage:
Galaxy Note 4 will come with 32GB of storage. On-Board Storage: 32 / 64 GB with microSD support up to 128 GB.
Galaxy Note 4 Carriers:
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is limited to the five major carrier’s AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon. And the same is expected for the Galaxy Note 4 in the United States. However chances are Samsung may also release no contract Galaxy Note 4 from the begining for a heavy price tag.
The other features of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 design is rumored to have the same IP67 certification found on the Galaxy S5. That would make the Galaxy Note 4 design dust and water resistant, something that the Galaxy Note 3 design does not offer to consumers, a fingerprint sensor, 1MP ISOCELL rear facing sensor, 3600 to 3800 mAh battery.
