Is the White House under enemy surveillance? A small drone was found inside the white House complex, incident which raised a lot of suspicions.
The United States, Secret Service has found a some sort of device, inside the White House grounds, which was later reported to be a small drone, but it didn’t represent a danger, declared White House Officials.
A representative of the White House, Josh Earnest, announced reporters travelling on Monday, with the president Barack Obama to India, that the situation was being handled and investigated by the Secret Service, the security agency responsible for the protection of the American president and its family. He described the object as a type of device, but he briefed up, by saying that he wasn’t sure what exactly it represented but he was most certain that for the moment, it wasn’t a threat for person at the White House. He added that the drone crashed on the south east part of the White House, some where around after 3 a.m.
At dawn, the White House, had been covered by the police, fire and other emergency officials which have searched and investigated the entire area of the mansion. The White House was kept in darkness and the entire area was on lockdown until close to 5 a.m., when the employees had been allowed to enter the building.
As soon as daylight struck, over a dozen Secret Service officers started a new search all over the White House lawn. They checked all over the grass area and used flashlights to look in the bushes that are lined along the mansion’s driveway. The officials from the security agency haven’t yet responded for comments.
At the present moment, president Obama is in New Delhi, where he will remain for three days, in order to set closer ties and connections with India. The first lady, Michelle Obama has also joined him in the trip to India, while their daughters Sasha and Malia remained home with their grandmother, Michelle Robinson.
Small drones, or quadcopter like this are mainly sophisticated toys can be used for several purposes, among which also commercial activities, like inspections of taking pictures. They are build very light weight and can be bought for a few hundred dollars or even less. Sophisticated and more complicated models can reach even thousands of dollars.
After further analysis, Josh Earnest, declared that he found no signs showing that the presidential family was in danger.
