The Black Friday fever has just begun and many are looking desperately for the best offers on all kinds of products. This is the perfect opportunity to buy that tablet you’ve dreamed of for the past couple of months or get your hands on that super exciting smartphone. The best thing about Black Friday is that you can buy things you never knew you wanted. And at a lower price. All the major companies do their best to attract consumers with the best offers money can buy.
Apple is no exception and for this Black Friday it will offer its customers red gift cards in order to raise funds to fight AIDS.
Apple announced earlier this week that it will donate a part of its Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales to the foundation that fights against AIDS. In return, those who buy Apple products during the Black Friday season will receive a red gift card.
The Apple red gift cards are Apple’s way of saying it is involved in the Black Friday madness, although they are not referencing it on their website, apart from turning its iconic apple logo red. This is to raise awareness for AIDS.
“Let’s make today more than the start of the shopping season. When you purchase select Apple products, you’ll receive a (PRODUCT) RED iTunes Gift Card to use toward anything at the iTunes Store. And we’ll automatically make a donation to the Global Fund to support the fight against AIDS.”
Apple announced some of the products that include an Apple red gift card:
-Buying and iPad comes with a $50 gift card
-Buying an iPhone will get you a $50 gift card
-Buying an iPod Touch and iPod Nano comes with a $25 gift card
-Buying a Mac computer comes with a $100 gift card
-An Apple TV gets you a $25 gift card, same if you buy any Beats products.
The Apple red gift cards apply to all versions of iPads, iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini. For example, you can get an iPad for only $199 with the gift card.
