Among the most anticipated game titles in 2015, gamers cite “The Legend of Zelda” for Wii U, Halo 5, “Batman: Arkham Knight”, “Battlefield Hardline” and “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End”.
Newcomers are also welcomed including the cooperative/competitive multiplayer shooter “Evolve,” revolutionary adventure game “No Man’s Sky” and the third-person shooter involving time travel experiments “Quantum Break.”
Other video games expected to be released in 2015 include “Bloodborne” and “The Order: 1886,” two gothic action-adventure games; the third title in the “Star Wars: Battlefront” series and the sixth “Star Fox” game. Also, the action-adventure stealth game “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” is also expected by its fans.
Other most-awaited game tiles are:
“Batman: Arkham Knight” by Rocksteady Studios. The release date is June 2. Platforms that will support it are PlayStation 4, Xbox One and MS Windows. In the new action-adventure, Batman will face Scarecrow and a mysterious villain called the Arkham Knight.
“Always defending the weak and the helpless. That’s what I like about you. You’re predictable. And that’s why we’re gonna win. We know your move before you do. We know more than you think!”
―The Arkham Knight
“Halo 5: Guardians” due to be released in the fall of 2015 exclusively for Xbox One. In this first-person shooter, main character Master Chief will get some extra help from Jameson Locke, a supersoldier and a naval intelligence agent. The multiplayer mode will feature new abilities such as thruster-boosted dodging and ground pounding.
“Evolve” scheduled to be release in February 10 for PS4, Xbox One and MS Windows.
In this title, players would have to team up to defeat not another team, but a super-sized monster. The game includes 5 modes – Hunt (players will try to stop the monster before destroying a power relay), Nest (players will have to destroy the eggs hatched by the monster in a time limit, while the monster will have to defend the eggs until they hatch), Rescue (players must defend colonists from the monster, while the beast must kill them to win), Defend (players must defend a spaceship while refueling), and Evacuation (the “story mode” of the game).
“Battlefield Hardline” with the release date on March 17 is designed for PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 and MS Windows. In this new title, players will switch from military missions to cops-and-robers-like missions. The first person shooter will have 4 modes: Heist (players steal money from armored trucks, while cops try to stop them), Blood Money (players must deposit $5 million worth of money in their truck first to win), Hotwire (police cars chase after criminals) and Rescue (police must rescue hostages in a time limit).
