Mark Zuckerberg is continuously working on the idea of making Facebook more innovative. In the latest gesture, the site is working on a strategy where the users will have more control over the news feed they wish to see.
With this move, the popular social networking site will be moving a step closer towards becoming a personalized newspaper. This news feed setting page will show details of people with whom you interact on a regular basis. In addition, users will also get to know about people whom your friends have unfollowed in the recent days.
These changes were announced by Facebook on Friday. Users will be able to add and delete pages from the news feed more easily as compared to the current times.
In addition, one will be able to delete people whom they do not wish to see in their friend list with the touch of a button. This feature will be currently available on the desktop and mobile version of Facebook. The same will be available in Facebook app too soon.
In case one is not interested in reading a story appearing on the news feed page, they can mark it in brown with the help of an arrow. This will hide the story and the users can then select to unfollow similar feeds in the future.
Facebook had announced earlier this year that it would be working on checking use of hyperbolic headlines in its news feed. The current move can be seen as a detrimental step in this regard.
