When one talks about gaming laptops, it is good to have bigger ones. Following this, the new 17 inch Y70 Touch Gaming notebook has been announced by Lenovo. The price of it is $1,299 and it would be launched somewhere in October. This would be the largest touchscreen notebook in the lineup of the company.
With Y70, Lenovo hopes to appeal a wide swath of users including creative professionals, multimedia users and gamers. It has a sleek design and is known for powerful specifications. The design is similar to Y50 and has understated design instead of brightly colored chassis and flashing lights. The look gets a good finish with a diamond cut chrome logo at top right hand corner. The interior of the notebook has a luxurious black soft touch finish and a glowing red backlit keyboard.
The weight of the laptop is less than 7.5 pounds. It comes with a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen display. The panel is responsive and quick. The colors of this laptop are quite bright. Y70 would be seen featuring the same JBL speakers that are found in Y50 and Y40. The keys on this keyboard are springy.
The Y70 Touch has been outfitted with no. of ports including a 4-in-1 card reader, jacks, secure lock slot, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, single USB 2.0 port and 2 USB 3.0 ports. It has RAM of 6GB and Nvidia GeForce GTX Graphics with a 1TB hard drive or a 256GB SSD. It would come with an external optical disc drive.
An understated look is offered by the Y70. It provides powerful specifications that are enough for competing with higher profile competition.
