The most anticipated tech event of this month will take place on October 16 that is tomorrow, when Apple will announce their latest products, including the 27 inch Retina iMac, the new iPads and most likely the new operating system Yosemite. Tech experts believe that Apple will announce their new products on Thursday in a live webcast event.
Tech experts are certain that the new 27 inch Retina iMac will be shown tomorrow and that the 21 inch version will most likely be revealed in the second half of next year. Analyst believe that Apple will release the 27 inch Retina iMac before the 21 inch version because to develop two high-resolution panels of different sizes is a very demanding task that takes years. Also, the larger version will obviously be more expensive than the 21-inch version and there will be a lot buyers, which means more profit for Apple. So releasing the 27 inch Retina iMac before the 21-inch version is also a marketing strategy.
Some believe that the 27 inch Retina iMac will have a 5K display but other specifications are not yet known. Tech experts believe that besides the 27 inch Retina iMac, the new iPads are the most anticipated new Apple products. Apparently the new iPads should have been released sooner but because of the anti-reflective screen coating that will be on the new iPads, the release has been delayed. Some say that the iPad Mini with Retina display will not have major changes this year but there are rumors about an upcoming 12.9 inch model that will be revealed at the beginning of 2015.
Tech analysts think a new MacBook is unlikely to be released in 2014 and the rumored 12 inch MacBook Air that will have Retina display will be in production in the first quarter of next year.
Many tech experts are waiting for Apple to release their latest OS X Yosemite, the next-gen operating system for Mac and others are curious about the Apple Pay.
The 27 inch Retina iMac will be released at the Apple event that will take place tomorrow, Thursday October 16, starting from 10 a.m.
