Tech giant Apple Inc has put an end to the longtime rumours about company’s new launches in September this year by finally announcing an official event on September 9 in California.
The company on Thursday invited media to come for a September 9 event in Cupertino, California.
The California-based firm has, however, not disclosed the motive behind the event, but the rumours are abuzz that it is likely to make several most-awaited launches including the much-talked iPhone 6 and wearable device iWatch.
If rumours are to be believed, Apple will announce the launch of larger and smarter iPhones with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screen size.
The tech sites are abuzz with reports that Apple will also introduce the much-debated smartwatches “iWatch,” which is a wrist-worn computerized device that can be connected to iPhones and iPads via Bluetooth.
While issuing the media invitations, Apple only dropped the hint about the new launches, saying “Wish we could say more.”
Market watchers say this may connotes that the Apple has a big range of products on its launch list, which may include Siri, Apple’s digital voice assistant or its newest iPhone which is dubbed the iPhone 6 or its wearable device foray, iWatches.
The event comes a year after Apple introduced its iPhone range 5C and 5S. Also the Apple’s event comes a week after its arch rival Samsung will unveil its Galaxy Note 4 phone-tablet hybrid, or phablet.
It is worth mentioning that Apple has continued the legacy of its former CEO Steve Jobs after his death. The company has added a new iPhone every year since the ex-CEO introduced the smartphone line in the year 2007.
