Did you get your BlizzCon 2015 ticket? You should. Blizzard has unearthed its schedule for the upcoming event and it is going to include everything from the Blizzard universe, for any player dedicated enough to bolster the Blizzfan ranks. As usual, BlizzCon is expected to be a blast, revealing future expansions and details planned for the games that people are so eager to play.
The number one spotlight needs to be taken naturally by World of Warcraft, which is coming up with the Legion expansion announced this summer. Blizzard intends to reveal the awesome features that will be arriving with Legion as well as extra information that will help players understand where the game is going. With the return of Illidan Stormrage and the new Demon Hunter class, players have a lot to look forward to.
The dive into Legion is going to be a very personal one because developers will show footage of the new zones in the game, how they create and breathe life into their most epic characters, how the lore develops and where it is going, etc. The truth is that World of Warcraft’s most solid advantage is the lore and how much it makes people empathize with the characters in the story.
Coming up next is Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void. As another great release and most expected game from Blizzard this year, Legacy of the Void is going to show the final chapter of the Starcraft II series. We will witness the Protoss’ rightful rise to power, Kerrigan’s destiny unfolded and how Jimmy and Zeratul will aid the forces of the universe towards a positive direction.
And let’s not forget Overwatch. Overwatch is Blizzard’s new shooter, a brand new game, with no correlation to the other Blizzard ones, that seems very promising in terms of gameplay, visuals and competition. We expect to find out more about the game’s lore, where the heroes are coming from. We are also probably going to see some kind of patch notes to see how the mechanics of the game develop.
The only game that is not getting much attention is Diablo III and for good reason. Diablo launched its latest patch at the end of August, with a new season starting and Kanai’s Cube. Kanai’s Cube enables players to remove special abilities and traits from items and bind them to their current gear. But this is only one of the many cool features that were added. Diablo only has a one hour discussion scheduled.
Either way, BlizzCon is expected to be a blast this year with some really interesting new features to look forward to. The event is going to be held in Anahaeim, California and you can join it anytime on the 6th and 7th of November.
