Brain is the most crucial and complex organ of human beings. Missing of any of its parts or even a slight bent in the nerves can lead to physically impairment. But the doctors in China have claimed to have spotted a young girl in her 20s who is leading a normal life in the absence of ‘little brain’, i.e. cerebellum.
A 24-year-old Chinese woman is living a largely normal life like those who have the cerebellum, one of the most crucial parts of the human brain which is responsible for movement of limbs and talking.
Except a few minimal problems, the girl lived a normal life and engaged herself in the daily work just as others do.
According to the Chinese doctors, the troubles faced by the girl were two: an unsteady walk and slightly slurred way of talking.
The woman with a cerebellum-less brain does not face any trouble in leading a normal life or carrying her daily house-hold works. She is even living a normal married life and is the mother of a girl, said Dr Feng Yu and his colleagues at a military hospital in Shangdong province of China.
The Chinese doctors said that they spotted the major discovery when the woman visited them complaining of vomiting and nausea for a month. The brain without cerebellum was spotted in her CT and MRI scans.
The mother of the Chinese woman said that when her daughter was four she stood up on her feet without any support and at six she started walking on her own. But she never ran or jumped and her speech was even not intelligible until she was 6 years of age.
The study’s findings were detailed in the scientific journal Brain.
