If you are like me, then you spend your time from home to work place “paging” through all the online magazines. And before you know it, you get off the bus and you’re at work. Time flies when you’re reading celebrity gossip, right?
We have great news. Google Newsstand app has received a new makeover and it looks better than ever. Google launched this very popular news app less than a year ago and its main goal was to provide its users the real “magazine reading experience”. I think they’ve done a great job and personally I also think that Google Newsstand app is one of the top news & magazines app at the moment. It’s like having a stash of the most popular and entertaining magazines stashed inside your phone.
Google Newsstand app was released last November and it was designed to offer easy access to all our favorite print magazines. The app is doing a great job as a news app: you get sport news, science, recipes and entertainment.
Google thought it was time for the Newsstand app to get a new look and they redesigned it. It now allows for a bigger image and a smoother page transition. You can swipe right and left if you want to switch from one topic to another or you can swipe up and down to find out more about a particular news piece or entertainment article.
If you open you Google Newsstand app you will see new topic cards added by Google. The speed of the app was also improved and it runs faster now after the improvements.
Google Newsstand app is available in over 40 countries worldwide and you can enjoy it by going to Google Play and download it on your smart mobile devices. If you don’t want to bother, the app will be updated automatically on your smartphone.
Do you use Google Newsstand app? Have you downloaded the new improved version yet? What do you think of it so far? Is it faster and smoother than the previous version? Please share your thoughts in the comment section below.
