Online shopping site Best Buy has thrown a surprise for every gadget enthusiast as it has listed the upcoming Motoral smartwatch ‘Moto 360’ on its website under a ‘coming soon’ tag. The news sounds exciting for all those who are eagerly waiting for prices, specs and many more details about the new Android gear smartwatch from the tech giant Motorola.
Motorola has still not unveiled its latest edition of the smartwatches. The Moto 360 watch is set to be launched on September 4 at a press event in Chicago. Motorola has so far spoke minimal about the price and specs of its upcoming smartwatch.
But, Best Buy seems to have let the cat out of the bag as its product page for the Android Wear smartwatch has listed the device with a USD 249.99 price tag.
The online retailer, in fact, has moved a step ahead by revealing the key specs of the Moto device. According to Best Buy’s page, the voice-activated smartwatch will have a Bluetooth 4.0, an optical heart rate monitor and pedometer. The device will be compatible with most devices running Android 4.3 or later versions of mobile OS of Google. Some other preliminary specifications include the LCD touchscreen of a resolution of 320 x 290, display protected with Gorilla Glass 3 and it’s water resistant.
Meanwhile, a Motorola Mobility spokeswoman refused to make a comment on the Best Buy listing.
It’s noteworthy that the BestBuy product pages have been wrong on several occasions in the past. Hence, there is huge possibility that the prices and specs may vary heavily or Motorola could make a last minute price change.
