Samsung Galaxy S7’s changes are more than meets the eye and, for many people all over the planet, now is the time that they have been patiently waiting for. This week comes the sequel for 2015’s amazing Galaxy S6 as the most expected smart phone of the season.
Samsung is introducing the product during the MWC tech event in Spain, as it was the case for some Galaxy S gadgets from previous generations. After 2015’s extreme departure in style, it is no shock to notice that Galaxy S7 looks almost identical to the previous model.
However, Samsung brought some essential changes, improvements and modifications that will make the main platform a lot better for people looking to update or change phones. If users judge it on appearance alone, they will have a hard time to differentiate the S7 series from 2015’s models, but on the rear of the new device, there is a minor curve.
In addition, the digicam hump that decorated 2015’s gadgets has totally disappeared, leaving a flat surface. Following the same aluminum and glass design, Samsung has taken a conservative approach this year and it seems set to use these features just as it did last season.
Areas of the frame that were standing out in the S6 are now changed with an identical shade as the other parts of the phone, creating the rounded glass model that is even more noticeable. As is often the situation with Samsung’s Galaxy devices, the S7 edition comes with Super AMOLED screen, now with 5.1” in diagonal and premium resolution of 577 ppi.
Developments over 2015’s leading model are not visible on its outside, as there is a lot available elsewhere. Using the S5’s example, the S7 is a waterproof device that complies with IP68 requirements and that can be taken even during rugged sports activities.
It will also be capable to face dirt surfaces as well and this is presumably ideal for people that utilize the gadget in unclean surroundings and at the seaside, for example. Submersible down to 5 feet for half an hour, the Samsung Galaxy S7 competes in equal terms with the water resistant features of the Sony Xperia range of phones.
This is not the only past function however, as Galaxy S7 offers again a slot for microSD cards beside the SIM tray. A significant element of any phone is its digicam and the latest model takes things to the next level with its 12MP sensor. Each pixel in the premium sensor will record more data and details than the previous cameras mounted on Galaxy devices.
