According to the latest research, exercising may help you steer clear from cancer, including a few of the most lethal variations of the disease. It seems that working out for just a few hours per week is linked to cancer resistance and an overall better health.
The researchers that looked at more than 1.4 million adult individuals said that a vigorous workout was linked to a diminished incidence of lung, breast, and colon cancer. Furthermore, myeloma, leukemia, esophagus cancer, kidney, liver, stomach, rectum, endometrium head, neck, and bladder cancers are among the other variations of the illness that can be prevented with exercising.
The current guidelines emitted by the authority are recommending people to engage in 150 minutes of moderate activity every week, or 75 minutes of vigorous exercising. By doing this, individuals can keep their heart healthy and steer clear from cancer.
Moderate activity can be defined by tennis, brisk walking, cycling, and other such activities that are not too strenuous on the body and heart.

Steven Moore, the lead author of the study, focused his attention on exercises that can be easily performed in household environments. Things that you can squeeze in between getting home from work and cooking dinner, or eating breakfast and leaving for work.
The team of researchers led by Moore analyzed the daily habits and health status of more than 1.4 million people. Even though they saw a concrete link between a reduced level of the aforementioned types of cancer and regular physical activity, they didn’t discover a cause and effect relationship.
Furthermore, the link between the two remained consistent even when the individuals were facing additional risk factors like smoking or obesity.
The risk of developing esophageal cancer was 42 percent lower in patients who engaged in in physical activity. Also, the study showed that exercising may help reduce chances of developing breast cancer by 10 percent, lung cancer by 26 percent, and colon cancer with 16 percent.
