Your favourite WhatsApp may soon be offering more than just sending texts or voice messages, sharing videos or pictures. If the rumors are to be believed, social networking giant Facebook, which has recently announced acquisition of WhatsApp, is all set to come up with a very impressive feature that will make WhatsApp an ideal application in totality.
The mobile messaging service may soon launch a free voice calling feature, allowing its 600 million active users to talk to their friends and closed ones for free.
Reports say the WhatsApp has recently got some crucial changes in the interface, hence, we can expect the introduction of the voice calling feature anytime soon.
A report on a tech site ‘thefusejoplin.com’ said, “The leaked images of the upcoming user interface shows that the app has been enabled with other language translations which will be displayed at the time a person receives a call via WhatsApp.”
A recent introduction of translation feature in the latest version of WhatsApp has also given crucial leads that a voice calling plug-in is in the offing.
There are also reports from various agencies suggesting that WhatsApp is revamping its relationship with various internet service providers and therefore it is investing a huge portion of its revenue for establishing better internet connectivity.
According to the tech site, there is no clue about the look and feel of the WhatsApp’s voice calling feature. Will it share the similarity with Facebook’s voice calling feature or not is also unknown, the site said.
