Woman cold blooded killed her puppy in a public bathroom after airport officials prohibited her to board for the flight with the 3 weeks old puppy.
A 56 years old woman, had been arrested in Nebraska last week, after she was reported to have drowned her 3 weeks old puppy in a public bathroom. Cynthia Anderson had been detained by the police on Friday, under the charges of animal cruelty. According to police reports, the woman living in Edgewater, Florida was traveling and wanted to take her three very young, Doberman puppies with her and other two dogs who were placed in crates. After arriving at the Central Nebraska Regional Airport on Thursday, and was preparing to broad for the flight, the woman encountered a problem. Apparently she wasn’t aware of the airport flight regulations.
Employees from the airport banned the woman from boarding the flight because the dogs weren’t according to the rules, which meant they weren’t allowed on the plane. The rules state, that dogs under eight weeks old, are prohibited to fly .
The captain of Grand Island Police, Dean Elliot, declared that the puppies were so young that their eyes weren’t even open.
Cynthia Anderson, seems to have handed two of the puppies to her parents, who live in the West of Nebraska. As she had missed her flight, she had set to travel the next day, this time with only the two older dogs who were transported in cages and one puppy, which she tried hiding in her hand luggage.
But her plan failed, as airport security caught her and banned her again from traveling with the 3 weeks old Doberman puppy. In that moment, Cynthia Anderson, may have been looking for a way to get rid of the puppy, and headed to the toilets. There she seems to have drowned the puppy. Right after Anderson, left the bathroom, a woman reported to having found a dead puppy inside the toilet.
After the reporting of the dead puppy, police officers started investigating, and interviewed several witnesses including the person who found the dead dog in the bathroom. All the answers gathered, were presenting Anderson as being guilty for murdering the dog. She was immediately arrested for animal cruelty.
The body of the puppy had been sent for an autopsy at the Humane Society, and water was discovered in one of the puppy’s lungs.
The two older dogs, the woman was carrying have been given to her parents while the other two Doberman puppies have been taken by the Humane Society.
